Warhammer 40k: Stormcloud Atack - The Ancient vs The Greater Good

Finally completed the base of the Razorshark model.

The base was done to match the previous two Farsight Eight models.

Finally, the two models together, ready for a game or Stormcloud Attack. Three flyers now available, including the Dark Talon I did a few years back.

Warhammer 40K: Farsight Enclave Razorshark (WIP) Part 2

Finally did the undercarriage and varnished the model.
Photo take a little darker than previously due to using only 1 source of light instead of 2. Might stick back to two next time.

Or get the damn light box!

Next, the base. I will be using the same red earth basing as I did with my previous models.

Warhammer 40K: Farsight Enclave Razorshark (WIP)

Razorshark base layer was done simultaneously while working on the Death Scythe.

After drybrushing reds.

Another session later

Glad that the turrets were removable.

*Paint note. Missiles are to be assembled last after the entire paint job is completed. Interior missile bay could be painted right prior to assembly.

Drone unit. While permanently attached, it could also be assembled later once entire model has been painted.

*Update: Added decals on the models

Warhammer 40K: Necron Doom Scythe (Complete)

Finally completed the Doom Scythe. The photos below were taken using my wife's mobile phone camera.

Definitely need to get myself a lightbox for better shots.

Coming up next, Farsight Razorshark. And probably the Night Scythe weapon options too.

*Paint Note. Top most carapace could be assembled after main body is painted to have a better effect on the main body parts that are exposed beneath the carapace. Careful with posing the Necron unit as there is limited pose available with the top carapace and the main body.

Warhammer 40K: Necron Doom Scythe

Just a quick post of my Death Scythe which I just "more or less" complete earlier today. Picture quality is a little poor since this was using my mobile phone to take.

Definitely need to use a better camera.

*Update

Just added decals on the model.

Base build using leftover sprue pieces for the crystals, piece of stone and speckle for the terrain. May just add sand for some spots later.
